About OnlyReferee

OnlyReferee is a subscription training channel for ice hockey officials. It has one publisher, the OnlyReferee desk, and no outside creators. The feed holds 30 Call It drills and 12 craft notes and checklists, released one a day, and the Drill Room keeps the whole drill bank.

How the content is checked

Every rule-based drill is written in our own words from facts checked against the USA Hockey 2025-29 Official Rules and Casebook of Ice Hockey, and it names the rule number and printed page so you can read the rule yourself. We do not copy rulebook text and do not host the book: we link to USA Hockey's rules page (usahockey.com/rules) and to a PDF copy of the rulebook on cdn1.sportngin.com, the document host USA Hockey's website uses. Craft notes are practice advice and are labelled that way.

Rules differ between USA Hockey, high school, college and pro hockey, and between age levels. When your governing body, league, assignor or supervisor says something different, they are right for your game.
