Five ratings after every game

Craft note: practice advice, not a rule.

You improve what you write down. After each game, before you drive home, rate yourself 1 to 5 on five things: positioning, communication, rule knowledge, fitness and game management.

Be honest and specific. A 3 with one sentence ("late to the goal line twice on rushes from my left") is worth more than a 5 with nothing.

The Bench Book on this site keeps those ratings private to your Stripes Card and shows your averages over time, so you can see whether the thing you worked on actually moved.
